Utility

I just received a call from Oncor.  54 hours later- close to the "48" they told me... though I am truly surprised they called back at all.  Mr Chris Easdon explained to me that the Oncor company is in the process of getting the public utility company services (PUC) to allow an "opt-out" for any customer that wishes to go back to the old style meter.  They must ask permission to do "opt-outs".  This is following suit of California that passed the option earlier...

Again, from my previous experience with the service agents, he was surprisingly polite and said he understood where I was coming from.  He claimed he was also one that has issue with EMF and RF radiation exposures.  He said that I will be placed on a call back list to be provided with the outcome as soon as it is decided.  Further, that he claimed he truly felt it would be favorable to my -and others- needs.  He even gave me his office number to call, if I wished to ask about the progress or had questions in the meantime.  As I stated before, I was not even allowed to have that number before today...

Among some his suggestions for immediate closure of the issue, was one involving an expensive move of the unit to the back of the property.  If you do not know or remember... currently my unit is within 2 feet of my head at my favorite spot (until day before yesterday) where I liked to sit on my "deck" area and view the back yard.  Another was that they could "reduce" the amount and frequency of (choke)-"safe" radiation from my unit. However, he admitted as they all "talk" to each other all the time -channeling info neighbor to neighbor up to entire 'hoods- that is really little help as my unit would have to talk more with others.  (This, BTW, is admitted evidence of the lack of security of your info, but that is another research project for you, I already found out...)

He also offered his opinion that action for the opt-out will take place in the next month or two as they have been pushed with a dead-line by the Texas Senate ("docket 40190") by end of this spring (2013)... Though I would be willing to pay it, It is unfortunate- and typical- that he assumes (like in California) to have a meter reader come to my home will be at a monthly additional charge.  (in Ca. it is $10.00 per month)... However, anyone that has experienced what I am dealing with, will understand that would be worth it.  The tin hat I am wearing since has actually reduced (not eliminated) the tinnitus and discomfort in my head...

Love to all from the Lunatic Fringe, (BTW, the tones at the beginning of this song are like what is full blast in my head morning to night)
